Affiliate Mistakes We All Seem To Make
As a seasoned affiliate marketer ... you most likely have made one or more of the mistakes I have made along the way. If you are a new marketer ... these are the mistakes you most likely will also make ... unless you read this and learn from my mistakes.
The first mistake I made was thinking I really did not have to take all the baby steps that it takes to learn this business. In other words ... I did not take enough time to build my foundation upon which I was building.
Thinking you can jump ahead and not bother with the nitty gritty will be a huge mistake.
The question is how do you learn the nitty gritty ... right?
There are thousands of products out there asking for thousands of your dollars to show you how to make "millions" in "days". Do not believe them. That is not possible for anyone to do. Do not spend a dime at this point. You do not have to.
The best place to start as a newcomer is with the king of "bum marketing". He will take you by the hand and show you the steps to take one at a time ... and he does it for free. Just click here. It is the only information you will need to get started. I know .... because the first big mistake I made was buying into products that were just there to get my money.
Do not do that.
There are many worthwhile products out there .. but you do not need any of them when first starting out. I leaned that the hard way .. and I also learned to never buy a product that does not offer a trial period. Never.
Once you have studied the "bum marketing" method .... there are more mistakes to make if you work at all like me. Another biggie goes along with jumping ahead and diving in without heeding what I was told.
There are thousands of affiliate programs out there. I thought I could promote at least half of them.
I was wrong of course. I spread myself way too thin in starting out.
Don't you do that.
Be discriminate. Pick a field .. let that be your niche. It could be the "best hotels to stay in traveling across country". Build on the niche you choose. Trust what you find in the "bum marketing" method. They work.
I thought I could take shortcuts in learning ... only to find out my "shortcuts" cost me twice as much time.
However .... once you have taken all those baby steps... you will find you have learned a lot .. you can then find shortcuts. One huge shortcut has to do with finding niches and doing the research in finding good appropriate keywords.
